ID’s 75th anniversary and End of Year Show More than 100 IIT Institute of Design students and faculty showcased a diverse selection of work to nearly 200 guests on Friday, May 11, 2012, at the school’s annual End of Year Show, which also celebrated ID’s 75th anniversary as the New Bauhaus. The show was divided into three parts that included large installations of the “Knowledge Box,” the “Concept Loop,” and the “Future Design Experience.” Presented to Martin Thaler, this conceptual identity of the event included: Event identity, postcard, poster, ID timeline wall, ID directory panel, vinyl and laser-cut lettering for the exhibition.
